Most SpeedBoat Companies operate a ferry from Phi Phi – Ton Sai to Koh Lipe once daily. The journey takes 4h.

The only mode of transportation to reach Koh Lipe is by boat. There is only one pier in Phuket from where you can find your direct ferry or speed boat to Koh Lipe: Tonsai Pier. Ferries operate between Koh Phi Phi and Koh Lipe, with several ferry companies.

You can bring one hand-carry item and one suitcase (max 20 kg) per person on the ferry. Pack efficiently to avoid extra charges.

Book your ferry tickets to Koh Lipe in advance, especially during peak season, to avoid sold-out tickets and ensure a smooth journey.

You can reach Koh Lipe by a combination of van and ferry from Krabi. Vans pick you up from Krabi and take you to Pakbara Pier, where you’ll board a ferry to the island.

Travel time to Koh Lipe is 3.5-6 hours by speedboat/ferry, or 5.5-7 hours via van + ferry (Pakbara Pier).

Koh Lipe can be reached by high-speed ferries, speedboats, or van + ferry combos from Klong Jilad Pier (Krabi), Hat Yao Pier (Trang), or Pakbara Pier (Satun).

Coming by a combination of bus and ferry is a popular option from Krabi, but you could also opt to travel by bus and ferry from Hat Yai. Hat Yai is easily reached from Bangkok via a short flight, which also makes Koh Lipe a possible good starting location for island hopping
