The cheapest way to get from Hat Yai Airport to Koh Lipe is to take a shared minivan from the airport to Pak Bara Pier, and then transfer to a ferry to Koh Lipe for a further 90 minutes. In total, the journey takes around 210 minutes, excluding wait times.

The quickest and easiest Hat Yai Airport to Koh Lipe transfer option is to first take an airport taxi to Pak Bara Pier which takes around 2 hours under good traffic conditions. Once there, you can board a ferry to Koh Lipe Island which takes about 90 minutes. This combined journey should take approximately 200 minutes.
