It takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes or more to travel by ferry from Phuket’s Rassada Pier to Koh Lanta’s Saladan Pier. Traveling by speedboat instead can cut the travel time by half.

The fastest way from Phuket to Koh Lanta is by speedboat. It takes 1h 30m. It costs ฿850 – ฿1700 depending the boat service you choose between large ferries or faster boats. Further more, the standard ferry leaves Pier Phuket to Saladan Pier, Koh Lanta takes 1h 30m.

Please note that the boat trips to Koh Lipe can be 1.5 hours to 2 hours long on the speedboat so your luggage and you can get wet if it rains on the way.

You can reach Koh Lipe by a combination of van and ferry from Krabi. Vans pick you up from Krabi and take you to Pakbara Pier, where you’ll board a ferry to the island.
