Easy Escape to Krabi
My Thai adventure started at the busy Bangkok airport. Even though we flew a cheap airline during the rainy season, our flight to Krabi landed on time! It felt like the weather knew we were coming because the rain stopped, and we had sunshine the whole trip.
Minivan Magic
To get to Railay Beach, we needed a van and a cool longtail boat. The van was right outside the airport waiting for us. After a pretty ride for about 40 minutes, we arrived at a pier called Ao Nam Mao. Their boats leave for Railay at 10:00 AM, 1:30 PM, and 4:30 PM.
Welcome to Paradise!
When we got to Railay Beach, a tractor picked up our bags (and me, because I wanted to try it!). Then, another golf cart took us to our fancy hotel, the Railay Bay Resort & Spa.

Since it was too early to check in, I went straight to the amazing Railay Beach right next to the hotel. The water was crystal clear, and there were tall cliffs and lots of green plants around it. It looked like a dream!

The day ended with a beautiful sunset. Railay was so stunning, and I couldn’t wait to explore more!
